The Secondary Executive Committee exists to support the needs of secondary and FE leaders in Norfolk. The committee is made up of both nominated and self-nominated members. We strive to represent the full diversity of Norfolk secondary leaders, co-opting individuals where needed to ensure broad representation and to draw on specific strengths or expertise.

Each meeting includes feedback from the Executive Board, consideration of topics specific to secondary leaders and discussion of priorities for all Norfolk schools. These topics arise through our engagement with leaders or are raised directly with committee members.

The committee identifies what additional expert information or signposting secondary leaders may need to make informed decisions, and how best to encourage them to share their perspectives with us. We then collate these views to ensure they are accurately represented on the boards where we speak on behalf of secondary leaders.
