Primary Executive Committee
The Primary Executive Committee exists to support the needs of primary leaders in Norfolk. At each meeting we feedback from our Executive Board meeting, address issues pertinent to the whole of Norfolk and then those specific to primary leaders. These may have been brought to our attention via engagement with leaders or are issues raised directly with our members. We invite appropriate speakers, work on specific areas of education, such as recruitment and retention and headteacher induction, and are often visited by individuals seeking to garner opinions before redesigning or launching projects within Norfolk.
The committee is made up from a combination of nominated and self-nominated individuals. We strive to be as representative of Norfolk primary leaders as possible. We encourage recommendations, volunteers and interested parties to join the committee, as well as co-opting others to help ensure we are representative of the whole landscape and inviting those with considerable strengths or specific expertise.
