Our governance group has three main goals. Firstly and most importantly to have strategic oversight over our operations, offering a critical friends perspective on decisions and directions to ensure the support of Norfolk School Leaders is at the heart of everything we do. Secondly, to ensure our long-term financial sustainability, making sure Norfolk leaders always have an external, impartial support mechanism. And finally  To ensure any expenditure is for the benefit of the school leaders we serve

Each member of our current governance group is a serving or ex-governor from one of a range of settings across the system. Our governance group was established in 2023 and our current members have been selected to ensure they represent a broad range of Norfolk settings.
