I have reached crisis point and need help

When you reach this point it can be difficult to know what to do, below are some suggested actions to help you ensure you are prioritising yourself and do not need to worry about anything school related.

Some suggested actions

Look after yourself: 
  • Make an appointment to see your doctor
  • Self-refer to Norfolk and Waveney Talking Therapies
  • Ring Norfolk Support line if you subscribe   (paid for package of school support)    24/7 phone support – 0800 169 7676
  • Alternatively contact Education Support, a free helpline 08000 562 561 
 
At school:
  • Phone a member of your SLT or trusted colleague notifying them that you will not be in school – you have self-certified
  • Notify your Chair of Governors/Trustees or ask a colleague to do so, they should contact your MAT/The LA/The Diocese on your behalf if necessary.
  • Put an Out of Office message on your email, you may want to allow a trusted colleague to access your account.
  • Contact someone from NSLA by email or personally if you have their number already:
